NEW YORK CITY PLANS TO MAKE
EATING AND DRINKING SHEDS PERMANENT.
WARNING: Department of City Planning is partnering with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and other City agencies to review and remove zoning limitations that would hinder permanent outdoor dining in the roadbed; this includes an overall review of sidewalk cafe regulations which have been suspended since the temporary Open Restaurants Program was enacted last June.
The public has one last chance to be heard and speak up in opposition or with concerns before zoning is changed! Please attend all four upcoming citywide community board meetings, if you can? The more bodies and voices in the room the better DCP and DOT will hear us. See the list of upcoming presentations below.
Below please find a variety of protest signs/slogans that you can print for the CB meetings if you like.
